What is Feng Shui (#2)?

Let me go a step further.   Feng is wind; and  Shui is water.

The original saying is: "qi is dispersed by the wind, and retained by the water".  What does it mean?  Well, we can simply say that the wind brings the qi to the house, and we’ll use water to retain the qi to tap into the good energy.    Qi (pronounced "chi" or energy) will affect our health, wealth, and relationships with our family members, friends, colleagues, and acquaintances.

Knowing how to balance and harmonize the qi around us; knowing how, where and when it interacts with us is the study of Feng Shui.  A house may be fortunate in a period of time and unfortunate in the next period.  This is attributed to the change of qi in different periods,  The fact is that the same house changes at different time and space, that’s why we see people enjoying great wealth and good health in one period and (sadly) not the next.

Next week Q&A would be "what is qi?"
