Happy New Year!
Dear Friends,
Happy New Year to you all! I hope you enjoyed a delightful celebration to welcome 2008 and along with your resolutions, you have included in your list to check and implement feng shui cures to enhance good health, more wealth, brighter career path, and great relationships in 2008.
In approximately 5 weeks time, to be exact on February 4, the Solar Year (or Lichun) will begin. Lichun simply means the beginning of spring. This will mark the beginning of the year as far as Chinese Metaphysics are concerned. Now it’s time to de-clutter if you have not already done so. Don’t forget to check out the tips I’ve listed under Annual Stars for 2008 (just click on "what you must know” for more details) to locate the good and bad energies at important sectors of your house. Do take appropriate steps, and get ready to enjoy a healthy, blissful, and prosperous 2008!
By the way, the first day of the Lunar New Year will fall on February 7 for the Earth Rat (Wu Zi) year. This will be a year without Lichun 無春年 (no spring year) because it begins after February 4. 無春年 is also known as 寡婦年 (widow year) in northern China or 盲年 (blind year) in southern China. Marriage is believed to be unlucky in a year without Lichun.
Best wishes to you and your loved ones

Jeannie
