Animals compatibility

These are the twelve animals of the Chinese horoscope in the following sequence… Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog and Pig.

The image on the left shows the four compatible animals vertically, namely: Rat, Dragon and Monkey; Ox, Snake and Rooster; Tiger, Horse and Dog; lastly Rabbit, Goat and Pig.   In these group of threes are friends, this explains why there is empathy in our relationship with others.

Besides the two friends in each group, there is one additional secret friend.   They are: Rat/Ox, Tiger/Pig, Rabbit/Dog, Dragon/Rooster, Snake/Monkey, and Horse/Goat.

Flowers and potted Plants

Flowers and potted plants in our home not only beautify our living space, they also bring life and growth to the occupants.  I prefer potted plants because they are easy to maintain, also plants with nice rounded leaves as opposed to sharp pointed leaves.  Cut flowers are acceptable provided you change the water daily and throw them away as soon as they withered.    The colors of the flowers and plants play an important role as well, for example, in the east and southeast sectors of the house which belong to the wood element under the Five Elements theory, white flowers are not too welcoming here because they do not encourage the smooth qi flow in these two sectors.  Dark blue and red color plants are more suitable here.  Remember?  Feng Shui is all about balance and harmony in our living space.

What is considered clutter?

We all know that we cannot avoid collecting clutter; it is like dust sneaking under the sofas or gathered on top of our beautiful furniture.   We clean our houses ever so often, so must we clear the clutter from time to time.

Look into your cupboards, chest of drawers, kitchen drawers, garage shelves, wardrobes, attic, under the beds, and any place where you piled up boxes of stuff which you can’t bear to throw away.   I bet you will find a lot of junk which you have collected unconsciously through years of your life.  So get started… throw out or give away the bits and pieces that you haven’t used to date.  The broken tools and apparatus that will never get fixed; toys from when your children were young; old clothes and shoes; old magazines, newspaper, brochures, the list can go on.

Equally important is your emotional clutter… throw away those old love letters, photos of old loves, especially anything that reminds you of the bad times.

Once you’ve gone through that, you’ll be surprised to find that your house brightens up immediately, you will feel more comfortable and peaceful.   This is simply because the stagnant energies are now replaced by the fresh energies and flowing freely.   Now you know J why hesitate?
