Bed placement

I’m running behind because I was busy entertaining and playing tourists with friends from oversea.  But today, I’d like to write about another important placement… and that is the bed.

We all know how important it is to have a good night sleep… in Feng Shui, good placement of our bed can greatly influence our health, our marriage, and eventually our accomplishment in life.   Here are a few precepts to remember when placing your bed:

1. place your headboard against a solid wall with no doors or windows along it;
2. Do not sleep with your feet pointing to the bedroom door;
3. Make sure that the wall is not embedded with electrical wirings nor water pipes;
4. By the same token, do not place your headboard next to a bathroom wall;
5. Make sure that you clear the clutter under your bed;
6. If it is a bedroom suite, close the bathroom/toilette door;
7. If you have a mirror that reflects your bed, cover it up at night;
8. Make sure that your bed is not placed directly under a beam;
9. Keep you bedroom as cozy as possible, avoid bright lights and red color beddings;
10. Lastly, avoid aquarium, fish tank or living plants in your bedroom.

Sleep well

Additional factor

I hope you all had a wonderful and relaxing summer break, can’t imagine that we’re already in September!

Anyway, to sum up my last blog about desk placement, there is one additional factor that you have to take into consideration… DO NOT sit with your back to the door because we want to capture the good energy that flows in.  It is also believed that if you sit with your back to the door, you’re more prone to back-stabbing.  It’s logical that we prefer to see the people coming and going around us.  So here’s to a good start of your desk placement!
