How to use the singing bowl
First of all, hold the cushion with the bowl sitting on it firmly. Take the wooden mallet on the other hand and strike the bowl gently. The vibration of the sound will linger and diffuse in the open space. This melodious sound will last for about a minute or two. You can repeat the action three times. You will feel the sound getting purer as you strike more often and gain confidence.
There is another method to purify the energy… strike the bowl with the wooden mallet as described above, with the wooden mallet, press and move the mallet in circle on the external edge of the bowl, a continuous humming sound is produced. Some would recommend walking with the bowl clockwise round the room three times.
The metal sound produced can absorb the sickness energy in a home; remove stagnant energy, dissolve energy left behind by the previous residents, or negative energy from the vicinity. If you experienced a serious of accidents, burglary, or having tension and anger, sounding the bowl will bring good and vibrant energy into your home.
Purifying the energies of your home
This Singing bowl from a monastery is made of seven different metals, namely silver, gold, tin, copper, zinc, iron and lead; comes complete with a cushion and a wooden mallet. The diameter is approximately 9cm (3½ inches), the height about 5cm (2 inches).

Do not let it fall onto a hard surface as this will destroy its purifying power. It can also be used to overcome temporary bad feng shui, or you can use it daily to dissolve any negative energy. It is the sound of the singing bowl that brings the good new vibrant energy to your home.
