Happy Lunar New Year! Gong Xi Fai Cai!

I'd like to extend my very best wishes to all of you who are celebrating the Chinese Lunar New Year… May this New Year bring you and your loved ones more happiness, joy, prosperity, good health and peace!
It is a custom for one's parents to distribute a "hong pao" (red packet) containing "money", sometimes "jewelry" to their children. Fruits and sweets are also distributed as a token for a sweet and happy life.
Red is Chinese favorite color as it represents good luck and auspiciousness. Nowadays, it is a common practice to give a "hong pao" containing three coins tie with a ribbon (as shown in the image above) to relatives and friends This symbolizes sharing wealth and luck.
You can buy and tie the coins yourself, or order them from my Home Page (Feng Shui coins).
