Your luck periods and luck graphs
This is a sample image of a Bazi chart of a male client. The upper table indicates the natal chart derived from the birth date of this individual; the middle and lower tables are the luck periods generated by the determining factors of the Year and Month pillars.
These luck periods represent the elemental influence in our life and each period lasts for 10 years. We can say that in each 10-year luck period, the Heavenly Stem envelops the first five year while the Earthly Branch oversees the last five years. Within each 10-year luck period, our luck varies due to the interactions of the Heavenly Stem and Earthly Branch elements of each year. Similarly, our luck varies in a particular year due to the rotation of Heavenly Stem and Earthly Branch elements in a month.

If it is not feasible, try to keep the activities to a strict minimum. A prelude to Xin Mao year
I needed a break in the midst of preparing the 2011 calendar and 2011 Annual Flying Star chart, so let’s try to build the first picture of the coming new Rabbit year.
The 辛 (Xin) 卯 (Mao) Solar year will begin on February 4, 2011 at 12:32pm. The heavenly stem 辛 (Xin) being Yin Metal is usually associated with precious gold, fine jewelry, and elegance; so 辛 (Xin – Yin Metal) can represent elegance, kind and beautiful; as opposed to 庚 (Geng – Yang Metal), which denotes strong, unbending, and destructive weaponry.
The earthly branch 卯 (Mao) being the Rabbit is known to be graceful, cultured, well-mannered, and sensitive to luxurious goods.
If we were to refer to Yijing, 辛 卯 (Xin Mao) is represented by Hexagram 61 中孚 (Zhong Fu) which means Inner Truth. The attributes of the two trigrams Xun above and Tui below create the basis of a mutual confidence that makes achievements possible.
With the above in mind, can we conclude that the first picture of the Rabbit year will be calmer and more peaceful? What about Metal cutting Wood (Rabbit)? Food for thought…
